Being from Missouri I have a particular love for good barbecue.
Kansas City barbecue is rubbed with spices, slow-smoked over a variety of woods and served with a thick tomato-based barbecue sauce, which is an integral part of KC-style barbecue.
A large percentage of the taste is the cooking method of the meat however, the sauce plays a very valuable role in making a good barbecue meal.
Below are a few I have tried and like.
This thick and tasty tomato-based barbecue
sauce recipe for dippin’ and moppin’ goes real
well with most anything BBQ. Start with this
basic BBQ sauce recipe and then adjust the
ingredients and quantities to make it your own
special sauce! It’s real easy to do, as
demonstrated by one of the BBQ Pit Boys.
